If you use pure silver cups to heal your nipples between sessions, do not apply lanolin at the same time: fats block the natural action of silver ions. However, lanolin is your perfect ally for lubricating the inside of your rigid plastic or silicone flanges if you feel unpleasant friction while pumping.
How to use & tips

Classic application: After breastfeeding or a pumping session, wash your hands. Squeeze out a pea-sized amount, soften it gently by warming it between your fingers (pure lanolin softens with body heat), then apply delicately to the nipple and areola.

The “Intensive Care” tip: Mix a drop of your own breast milk (naturally antibacterial and repairing) with a dab of lanolin directly on your fingertips before applying to the sensitive area.
